ORDERING FROM FLOATING STONE WOODWORKS
TO PLACE AN ORDER: To place an order for a custom project or one of the pieces from this website, please contact us by any of the means listed on the CONTACT PAGE. Once a project is agreed upon, you will receive a contract stating the details of the project, price, approximate delivery date, and shipping costs. When we have received your signed contract, the project will be placed on our schedule. Please fill out our Custom Order Contract. |
DEPOSIT:
CATALOG PROJECTS: Scheduling a project requires a 30% deposit, with an additional 30% due when the project is started. The balance is due upon completion (prior to shipping) or C.O.D. arrangements can be made.
CUSTOM PROJECTS: We request a 50% deposit to place a project on our schedule, with balance due upon completion (prior to shipping) or C.O.D. arrangements can be made. Other terms may be available.
SHIPPING:
Shipping and handling costs are determined by the weight of the piece, its destination, and whether it is shipped to a residence or a business (a business delivery costs less). Your furniture is wrapped by us personally in bubble wrap or blankets and crated in a 5/8” particle-board crate with a 2”x3” frame.
We use a company called Unishippers exclusively. They are an international company that provides full and personalized service to small businesses (like us) across the U.S. Their volume is such that discounts typically reserved for larger corporations are passed on to you. In short, they get the piece to you when promised, safely and undamaged. We have registered the weight of pieces we have shipped to other parts of the country, and if you tell us your zip code, we can get you an estimate on S&H in 24 hours.
